I was referred to Aspen Wood Floors by an electrician who was working in my home. He had used them several times already for his own projects and mentioned that he would continue to use them in the future. My partner and I went to visit their showroom on the Queensway. It was there we met David Mahabir, a sales representative at Aspen. David was extremely knowledgeable about hardwood products and helped us to decide what product would best suit our particular needs. I had done some research prior to visiting the showroom and had already shopped around a few places. No other salesperson had impressed us. Right away we could see that David knew the business inside and out and would be able to assist us in making the all important decisions regarding the best product and installation method for our home. After selecting the product we would install, David came to the house to assess the square footage as well as how much work was needed in terms of leveling. We booked a date and I met the crew the morning they began work. Robert and Fabian were courteous, polite, and true professionals. They saw right away that there was much more work that needed to be done than David had anticipated from his visit. Instead of skipping steps and rushing the job, they relayed this information back to Aspen as well as to me, which was integral as I was scheduling all the other trades on the project. The day they began laying the hardwood floor, I left work and rushed to the job site. I have had jobs go south before and I wanted to be present when the work began. As soon as I got to the house, I felt instantly better. Robert and Fabian had set up chalk lines, were using shims underneath the glue, and were obviously taking a great deal of care while installing my floors. They walked me through what they were doing as well as bringing up issues that they had encountered and how they intended to deal with these issues. It was wonderful that they took the time to communicate these things to me, so that I could have a say in how they would proceed. I wish more trades people thought to do this!!! In order to assist me with my deadlines, Robert and Fabian worked on the weekend and extended hours during the week. I was very appreciative of these extra efforts above and beyond what one might expect in terms of customer service. What a phenomenal experience! I would definitely come back to Aspen for my next flooring project!!

Our new hardwood flooring in the kitchen & front foyer is gorgeous! The mitered picture-frame design around the tile inset in the foyer is an elegant look. The price was in-line with other estimates, the work was completed on schedule... and David had the patience of a saint as I repeatedly signed-out samples, asked questions & more questions and took months to decide on the stain color. Highly recommend Aspen Wood Floors!!

We researched a number of hardwood flooring firms in the early summer of 2009;we were most impressed with the quality of work completed by the two installers from Aspen. They were polite, efficient and most important conscientious. We highly recommend this company.

We had recently installed Mirage Engineered wood floor in the basement / family room. Was very impressed with David from Aspen. The contractors who installed the flooring were professional, did a great job and made sure it was done to perfection. I have no hesitation from recommending and hiring Aspen in the future.

We have cork flooring done in our kitchen, hallway, powder room and laundry room. It looks amazing. We also had the stairs redone in oak... what a difference from carpeting. It looks amazing. Thanks to Jane to her excellent customer service.
